The art Nix has been made using the Pixologic Zbrush ( 3D digital sculpting software widely used in the 3D art industry ), The final retouches are done using the Adobe photoshop. Semi-realism is a form of “Representational Art.”
Representational Art is any Art form that portrays the way something actually looks in reality. This is found in a wide range of genre, from Impressionism to Realism, High Realism, or Super Realism. The closer the details near perfection, the better. Any of these forms of Realism can be, and often are Stylized.
Semi-Realism is the form somewhere between Impressionism and Realism. This can be determined by the size, tight or loose, or sloppy brushwork. Then there’s the technical ability of the Artist to consider. Though artist used the zbrush for sculpting the final touch ups will always be done in the photoshop It is called as retouching.
