Here Gal Yousef made the art on hello kitty. It is such an amazing art that attracted a lot of people.Let me explain how he has created the kitty 3D art and share the tricks and techniques here.Before starting our topic here let me show the Hello kitty's 3D art in here.

In these days Zbrush has become the industry standard sculpting software for creating great sculptures.In here Gal yosef used the same software to sculpt the hello kitty's digital sculpt. The most of the sculpt has been done using the zbrush. the he moved on to the few more softwares to polish the kitty's Model.

After finishing the sculpting on zbrush. He took the model into the maya to refine the shapes and add more stuff such as bag and money. He has used maya to create all of the base shapes. Here is one thing to note, He has used the maya for arranging the base shapes. But he used different software to render the character out.

Let's discuss about the Uv mapping here,

He has used autodesk maya to do uv mapping for all of the objects in this art.After finishing the uv mapping he has gone to substance painter to bake all of the necessary maps to generate the texture before diving into the texturing.

After taking all of the needed maps for texturing he has thrown the maps into the texture slots in the substance painter and started texturing it. Substance painter has got a lot of materials that you can just drag and drop on the objects in seconds, It is non destructive tool to texture any 3d model.

Let's come to the final part in this section.

After exporting all of the maps out from the substance painter he has applied them to the corona renderer shader to take the renders out, But for the fur he has use autodesk maya's xgen tool and generated nice groom for it. After making the groom he turned xgen primitives into the mesh geometry then he brought them into the 3ds max software and applied the fur shader of corona renderer, 

After arranging the all of the shaders,He has arranged the key lights in the cinematic positions then took the high resolution renders.
